What this app is

The Power Within Co. is a self-help wellbeing space for people aged 18 and over. It offers grounding, breathing, meditation, sleep stories, journals, reflection cards and colouring.

It is not therapy, medical advice or a crisis service, and it is not a replacement for professional care. If you are struggling, please talk to your GP, a mental health professional or one of the helplines above.

Your writing stays on your phone

Everything you write or record in the app stays on your own device. We cannot see it, and it is never sent to us. This includes:

journal entries and voice notes
your answers to the "How are you?" check-in
your colouring, your progress through the 30 days and your settings

Because it only lives on your device, clearing your browser data or changing phone will delete it. You can download your voice notes from the Journal if you want to keep them.

The app only uses your microphone when you tap "Speak instead", and the recording stays on your phone.

What we do collect

If you ask to hear about something (for example our colouring pencil set), we keep the email address you give us and what you were interested in. We only use it to tell you about that, and you can remove it yourself at any time on our Unsubscribe or cancel page.
If you buy Plus or a journal, payment is handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, under their own privacy policy. We never see your card details. The app checks your licence key with them so it can unlock Plus.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the app running.

We do not use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics, and we never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you (usually nothing, or only your email address), ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will reply as soon as we can. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
